Come to Itacaré It´s possible arrive in Itacaré from big towns, through cars and buses. The usual, after cars are buses, that arrive each hour  till 10:00 pm.

AS PRAIAS

DA CONCHA

Is the closest beach from downtown and it’s plenty of bars and inns, is the crowded one during the Summer time, although the water is turbid due to the Rio de Contas. It offers a calm sea and many coconut palms, kayaks’ rental and a beautiful sunset, which is enjoyed on the "Ponta do Xareu" rocks.

DO RESENDE

One km. away from downtown - 20 min. walk - a small cove that has coconut trees, white sand, natural pools and good waves for surfing, attracts several swimmers and surfers. Quiet beach featuring rustic bars where simple meals and frozen beer is served.

DO COSTA

Small, white-sand beach and surrounded by coconut trees, it is not the best one for swimming due to the strong streams. It doesn’t have any infrastructure and has little movement, just for those who want to enjoy the landscape.

DA RIBEIRA

Last central beach, easy access by, Ribeira is framed by the Atlântic Forest (Mata Atlantica), a Creek and many bars attract famílies and children during the weekends and hollydays.  Those who prefer calm places, the best thing is it is to continue no the way to the paradisiac beach of Prainha.

DE SÃO JOSE

Sophisticated, white and thin sand São Jose’s beach stays in an area of environmental protection surrounded by luxurious hotels, sumptuous residences, palm trees and natural swimming pools. Accessible across a steep trail and it offers also good waves for surf.

PRAINHA

This small and pretty beach is accessible only on foot, across a trail of half an hour that goes out from Ribeira, it is one of the most visited in summer. The walk is very nice and you’ll find simply dazzling beach.

ENGENHOCA

Frequented by surfers, Engenhoca has natural swimming pools, palm trees and “ morros “ (hills) covered by the generous vegetation of the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlântica). The trail that takes you to the beach is quite easy and it only  takes 15 min. walking.
